Close to Sweetwaters is a well frequented site where a two springs feed 5 geometrically aligned ponds. The first one (Hertebron, the deer source) is not directly accessible, and its suitability for drinking is not known. The other one (Minnebron, the source of love) has a well maintained outlet where many people come get their water, with a little explicative and illustrative sign describing the local hydrology and showing a mineral analysis of the water. A church and many hiking trails nearby. Water comes fresh and seemingly constant in flow.
Chapel
The Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Steenbergenkapel is a chapel south of Oud-Heverlee in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The chapel is located on a path called Kapellendreef that runs from the Maurits Noëstraat, on the edge of the Meerdaalwoud, Heverleebos and Egenhovenbos near the Minnebron and Zoet Water.
